- Enquire in your second trimesterReach out around 20 to 26 weeks so there's time to plan your look and lock in a date.
- Shoot between 28 and 34 weeksThe bump is beautifully round and most mums still feel comfortable moving and posing.
- Enjoy your galleryYour edited portraits arrive in a private online gallery, ready before the baby does.
What to wear
Looking & feeling your best
- Gowns and props are provided. Share your size and favourite colours when you enquire.
- Bring a fitted dress or outfit of your own if you'd like extra variety.
- Partners look great in neutral or coordinating tones.
- Book hair and makeup for the day; it makes a real difference on camera.
- Pack comfortable shoes, water and a snack for between looks.

Most maternity sessions are photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when the bump is well rounded and you're usually still comfortable. If you're expecting multiples or your doctor advises otherwise, aim a little earlier.

Absolutely. Partners, children and family are welcome to join.
On a styled set or at an outdoor location you love. Kris is based in Prince George's County and travels across Maryland, DC and Virginia; travel is discussed on your call. Any location fees are paid by the client.
